He holds a doctorate in social anthropology from the \u00c9cole des Hautes \u00c9tudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris), a degree in political science and comparative sociology, and is co-director of <em>Nouveaux Cahiers Castoriadis.<\/em> His research focuses on the notion of \u201ccommunity\u201d and various modern collective identities, as well as the theoretical and epistemological understanding of holism in the social sciences. His most recent publications include: Les carrefours du temps: temporalit\u00e9s et histoire dans l\u2019\u0153uvre de Cornelius Castoriadis (with T.
