This research project aims to explore the contemporary philosophical and political debate surrounding the meaning of democratic society and the challenges it faces. The ecological question, artificial intelligence, new political and social fractures, and the reshaping of conflict and identities are leading to a reconfiguration of democratic regimes and their meaning, highlighting previously unseen aspects. The goal is to develop a new understanding of democratic society, one that goes beyond both liberal theory and deconstructionist and postmodernist critiques, and captures the challenges it faces.
